Ramoji Film City

If one wants to experience behind the scenes of film and television shows, a trip to the Ramoji Film City is a must. Located only 30 kms away from pearl-city Hyderabad, Ramoji Film City is the largest integrated film city of the world. The film city is stretched to 2000 acres and is beautifully decorated with manmade wonders and natural gifts.


Ramoji film city has recorded itself in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest in the world. The city was formed by Ramoji Rao of the Ramoji group in 1996, and since then is a wonder to people and tourists of all ages.
Ramoji film city allows day tour with separate entry fees for children and adults. The film city is open for its tourists from Monday to Sunday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. The tour allows you to visit as many as 50 film units at a time, which includes London Street, Hollywood sign, Japanese gardens, airport, hospital, etc. , landscapes and buildings as well as laboratories.
Apart from film city tour, there are Kids Park, Movie Magic Park and opportunity to experience live shows. A botanical garden in its arena, the tourists can have a look at the Birds Park, Eco Park and Bonsai Garden. A glimpse of one or two film shots is not unnatural, but regular tourists are not allowed to enter into film sets. Journey into the Celluloid world, Interactive Entertainment, Action, Filmi Duniya,ramoji tower and eureka  also includes the list.
The film city is well occupied with restaurants and eateries and offers multi-cuisine delicacies to match your day-long tour.  Ramoji Film City welcomes its tourists with a welcome drink and snack at the arrival. Moreover, the bus travelling within the film city includes a welcome package of privilege chocolate box, welcome drink and snacks on arrival. The ticket also includes star experience with special advantage like limited queue and food packages at AC restaurants.
The tourists interested in visiting Ramoji Film City, busses arrive in Hyderabad in the morning, at 8.30 am. These are the same vehicles that drop the tourists to their hotels at Hyderabad. Ramoji Film City is also content with world class accommodation within the premises. Grand wedding and honeymoon packages are allowed in the recreation spots of the film city.
While Ramoji Film City is connected by roadways and can only be reached by bus and cars, Hyderabad can be reached by air, road and rail. Hyderabad airport is 8 km away from the main city. The airport is connected with national and international flights. Once can reach Hyderabad by bus from Pune, Mumbai, Bijayawada and Goa. Hyderabad Railway Station, Secunderabad Railway Station and Kachiguda Railway Station are the three points to reach the city by train.
